For the last two weeks, our lab was glad to host Ruiyu Pu, DVM, PhD, a scientist in the Emerging Pathogens Institute at the University of Florida. Dr. Pu spent his time with us training on immunologic methods with various members of the lab. Christy Clutter (Postdoctoral Fellow) tauht Dr. Pu vibriocidal antibody assays for dried blood spots and serum. Shubhi Trivedi (Postdoctoral Fellow) and Tiffany Nguyen (Lab Aide) aided him in learning OSP, CTB, and Vc-ICP1 ELISA techniques. We thank Dr. Pu for his dedication and hard work.
