This week, The Leung Lab attended the 2025 University of Utah, Microbiology & Immunology Retreat in Midway, Utah. Our group was well represented with posters from Christy Clutter (Postdoc), Mary Vallecillo-Zuniga (Postdoc), Léna Mazza (Postdoc), Paola Fonseca Romero (PhD Student), Grace McGee (PhD Student), Marcus Hayden (PhD Student), Aparna Mangadu (Research Analyst), Kilee Davis (Lab Manager), and Kenadee Jacobson (Lab Technician).

We are excited to celebrate Paola who won second place in the Graduate Student Poster Session! Congrats Paola!

Christy and Léna also participated in flash talks and Daniel Leung (PI) presented on projects in our lab that focus on informing sero-epidemiology and public health interventions for V. cholerae immunology.
Beyond sharing our work, we enjoyed engaging talks across a wide range of topics and had a wonderful time connecting with the community at this well-organized meeting. Thank you to the Department of Pathology for hosting. We’re already looking forward to next year’s retreat!
